Hobart is a wonderfully walkable city, with many hotels located close to Princes Wharf No.1 (PW1), the main venue for Meeting Place. We encourage delegates to walk where possible, weather permitting. Scheduled transfers will also be available for selected delegates and program activities, as outlined below.

MONDAY 26 OCTOBER 2026
Buyer hotel transfers
Scheduled coach transfers from buyer hotels to PW1 will be available each morning. Please be ready in the hotel lobby 5 minutes ahead of the below listed time. If you miss the coach, you will need to make your own way to the venue.

Destination Showcase: Curated Networking Experiences transfers
Following registration and the official welcome, coaches will depart PW1 at 10.30am for the Curated Networking Experiences around Hobart. Please follow the boarding instructions provided by the ATEC Team on the day.
Following the experiences, return coach transfers will be provided back to PW1 between 2.00pm and 3.00pm (exact timings dependent on the travel time from each venue).
The remaining afternoon is at leisure for all delegates, prior to the Welcome Function transfers commencing from 5.15pm. We recommend taking a stroll around Hobart waterfront and CBD and enjoying some of what the great city has to offer.
Tourism Tasmania Welcome Function transfers
Buyer transfers from 4.45pm
Coach pick-ups have been arranged for buyers from their hotels, operating from 4.45pm. Please be ready at your hotel pick-up point ahead of time. If you miss the coach, you will need to make your own way to Brooke Street Pier.
All delegate transfers from Brooke Street Pier at 5.15pm
Coach and ferry transfers to MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) will depart from Brooke Street Pier at 5.15pm sharp. If you miss these, you will need to make your own way to the venue.
Return transfers back to Hobart
Following the conclusion of the welcome function, transfers from MONA will be operated by ferry and coach, with first departures scheduled for 8.45pm and last departure at 9.45pm.
Ferries will return to Brooke Street Pier, from where delegates can make their own way to their accommodation or continue enjoying Hobart's waterfront and CBD. Coaches will return to selected CBD hotels.

Following the delegate networking refreshments at PW1, coach transfers will be arranged for buyers and Tasmanian sellers to The Forest (University of Tasmania Campus) at approximately 6.30pm.
Return transfers to buyer hotels will be arranged from approximately 9.00pm.

Conference Program Transfers
The Conference Program will be held at Hobart’s Theatre Royal, a short walk from PW1. Weather permitting, we recommend delegates stretch their legs and enjoy a stroll along the waterfront from PW1 to the venue; however, coach transfers will also be arranged from approximately 1.15pm for a 2.00pm sharp program commencement.
Following the conclusion of the Conference Program at 5.45pm, delegates can make their own way back to PW1 for the Gala and Awards commencing at 6.30pm. We recommend enjoying a refreshment around the Salamanca area which is in close proximity to PW1.
Please note that return coach transfers will not be arranged from the Theatre Royal to PW1, or to buyer hotels prior to the Gala and Awards, unless weather requires them.
Gala Celebration Dinner & Tourism Export Awards Transfers
Return coach transfers from PW1 to selected Hobart CBD hotels will depart from the Gala and Awards at 9.30pm, 10.00pm and 10.30pm. Coaches will operate at the scheduled times, but not necessarily every hotel is serviced by every departure. This information will be confirmed on the day.
